Sucrose, or table sugar, is a disaccharide commonly found in food and is obtained from the sugar cane or sugar beet juice.
Carbon Dioxide is a colorless, odorless gas produced by burning carbon and organic compounds and by respiration. It is naturally present in air (about 0.03 percent) and is absorbed by plants in photosynthesis.
Our tubbubble crackling crystals are produced through heating the sugar that is then flushed with carbon dioxide. As the sugar cools down, the carbon dioxide gets trapped within. When tubbubble Crackling Bath Crystals or tubbubble Bath Volcano enter in contact with warm bath water, the little carbon dioxide bubbles are released creating an audible crackle sound.
Our crackling crystals are covered by cocoa butter so they have a gentle moisturizing effect when they dissolve.
